Very clean, very organized, friendly people, cool antiques!
Visited in August 2022 with the hopes of doing some peach picking. Unfortunately, the season ended early so no picking for us that day.HOWEVER...we left with the most MINDBLOWING apple pie I've ever had. This was simply earth shatteringly good apple pie, I kid you not.Their cider donuts were also amazing, BUT THAT APPLE PIE!! 6 months later and I still dream about it! Pity I don't live in the US.
A fall visit rewards travelers with the auroma of hot apple pie while walking in the door, and the pie is as good as it smells! We enjoyed the hot apple cider and gluten-free cider donuts (real apples in the center). The people were warm and welcoming, such a wonderful gem.
While the prices for apples may be high, you are definitely paying for a unique experience at this restaurant. The apple orchards are well-kept, the apples are tasty, and the presence of yellow jackets is minimal. If you are interested in making cider or applesauce, be sure to inquire about their rate for fallen apples. My aunt was able to purchase large bags for $5 each. The restaurant is located quite a distance away from the main road. While there are no dirt roads, the route is narrow and includes two one-lane covered bridges.
