Went on our initial night at Cuevas de Almagruz with kids, owner super friendly and food was basic but good, atmosphere very good; we asked for a take out and he gave us a plate ! . We returned the plate a couple nights later and had some great tapas and wine. Very nice overall, authentic, and also inexpensive, I would recommend.

We couldn't rate this hidden gem of a restaurant enough! We had such a magical evening here with the incredibly friendly owners, their dogs and the most amazing food! We were staying up the road at Cuevas Almagruz so this restaurant is literally down the road. We were given a huge plate of jamón and cheese to start, then salad, fried whitebait next and then an enormous plate of barbeque meats sausage, black pudding, pork chops, chicken it was a huge selection! There was no menu the owners speak no english (so a few words of Spanish are helpful! but it is such an incredible experience good wholesome Spanish food in a great setting with such friendly hosts! It was also incredibly reasonable!

We stumbled across this place by chance while driving from Guadix to Granada. Very simple yet authentic food, with jamon and cheese for free, a fresh salad and an amazing plate of grilled meat with homemade fries. Very friendly and talkative owner!

Terminamos aquí por casualidad, pero no nos arrepentimos. el lugar tiene una maravillosa terraza, para disfrutar de la comida que también es espectacular, muy bueno todo. No sabíamos que pedir bien, y el dueño que es muy simpático nos hizo un surtido con lo mejor de la casa. personalmente, las migajas eran mis favoritas, que también son muy contundentes y las ponen con la fruta para bajarlas mejor. en resumen, completamente recomendado por la comida, la simpatía del personal y por la terraza

Un oasis bien atendido. excelente comida, atención de amigo. Incluso el agua es muy buena.
