Toro Tinto Pizza Grill - Puntarenas

Very nice, small, cozy, restaurant specializing in steaks. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Pricing is probably on the upscale end for Monteverde, but my wife and I were happy and would return. Would recommend to friends.

This pizza is wonderful. As someone from the NE USA this passes the test if you’re craving good pie while away! The crust is crunchy and delightful. Got half margarita and half veggie and did not disappoint. The veggie was so good, highly recommend!

Perfecto for pizza!! We had their house salad fantastic, and their pizza was unexpectedly great!! We were a little leary when we first came in, but the waiter and cook were amiable... side note there has been no military in CR since 1940 (my wife argued 200 years, lol) The chef came out to talk to us. It was a very early and intimate dinner as we were their first guests of the evening. Charming people and fantastic pizza!!!
