Soda El Acuario - Puntarenas

We stopped twice at Soda y restaurant El Podio on our way to Dominical and a week later on our way back. On our two visits we had casados, burritos and fish tacos. Everything was delicious. The service was great and the owner even remembered us from our first visit. I wish I could have written my review in Spanish, but I highly recommend this soda. Muy rico!

Nice typical soda, good, cheap and fresh Costa rican food. Staff is welcoming. I recommend the taco or casado.

Stopped for a quick breakfast on our way to Manuel Antonio from Los Suenos...Service was excellent, the place is very clean and charming, the food was delicious and very inexpensive. Highly recommend!

We loved this place so much we came here twice! Owned by a very sweet husband and wife who are very proud of their establishment. Breakfast (two entrees, two sides of cheese (fried and natural, get the fried), coffee and a smoothie for 8,000 colones! We were being fat kids, combo plates starts at 2,000 colones. Dinner for two was 6,700 colones. I highly recommend the chicken casados. No service charge. Food was made fresh to order and more tasty than all the overpriced restaurants we tried in the tourist locations just 3km away.

Had an amazing lunch here after a tour with discovery ranch tours. Absolutely delicious Taco, My boyfriend had the burrito which was also very good! It was the cheapest and definitely one of the best meals we've had in all of Costa Rica. Also very friendly staff and very clean and nice place.
