Bidrage med feedbackThe food here was okay. Nothing special... I don't suggest coming unless you really have to. The grilled chicken was good
We were a little worried first because the place was empty and it was a few minutes before someone noticed us. It turned out that we were only the first in the lunch break and most people who came after seemed to be locals. The service wasn't from this world, but we were searched and wanted nothing. We had a soup each. They were both good, but I recommend the quinoa and vegetables it was delicious and full of fresh vegetables. The stuffed pepper was delicious. The guacamole was also very good and the chips seemed to be made in the house. The lemonade was a little sweet for our taste. I had water with me, so I just mixed it. The only drawback was that we didn't know how big the portions were and we ordered too much food! Soup bowls are 2 to 3 cups. The guacamole was about 1/2 cup.
The food here comes in huge portions and everything is very solid, but the stuffed pepper is really amazing. it is not big, but it is very sharp in contrast to traditional filled peppers and the filling is incredible. It is highly recommended.
Large small restaurant near the main square. It's hard to find everything that resembles breakfast in Puno, but they nailed it. Owners were an old couple who was wonderfully helpful. Must stop for cheap fast meal.
It 's off a side street to the main pedestrian drag easy to find and a much better deal than the restaurants on the drag itself. Ask for the menu turistico , which includes a soup (the tomato or the asparagus were really good), a main dish...(the Alpaca steak was really good) and a desert for S.15, a great bargain. I also had a hot chocolate which was the best I tried in Peru.
