Wood fired pizza and meat stuffed eggplant both good but the service was very slow and erratic. The guy doing the pizzas was really had the pump. I got the impression that the owners were new as they were welcoming and were trying very hard to cope with the crowd but seemed frenetic I expect that creases will be ironed out by the time the season gets under way and would recommend a visit.
We chose this restaurant as it was one of the only places we hadn 't eaten at already that could accommodate our group of 7. We only had to wait about 5-10 minutes to be seated, as there was also a good sized group in front of us. Once seated, (in a tight corner that only the children in our group could squeeze into) we waited a little bit and the waitress came to take our orders. 3 of us were still full from lunch, and we 're not eating anything, although one did order the croquettes from the appetizer menu. These were 8 euros for 7 of them and they tasted really bad. Like they were straight from the freezer section. So once everyone had ordered, she made a comment that only 4 of us were eating. We politely told her that we had eaten earlier and we 're tired, so some were still not hungry. She then made an annoyed face and said yes, but we have people waiting (that was a lie), and you are taking up a table for 7 people and are only ordering food for 4 people. If I hadn 't been part of a group, I would have gotten up and left right then! as we sat there we decided to just take the rest of the food we had ordered to go, and not stay there any longer. I wouldn 't recommend this place to anyone! Horrible service, and nasty food!
4 of us came here for my partners 50th Birthday after ordering drinks which were brought promptly, first plate arrived after 20mins 2nd plated didnt come until a good 15mins further on by which time the first person had finished eating, ho well I thought, my brother and his partner had ordered Pizzas, which finally arrived over an hour after we had ordered, there was no tomato base 4 slices of pepper and a almost raw egg on top, we had been very disappointed with both the service and the meal, my brother took the pizza back, and advised that he was unable to eat this and asked why it had taken so long, the waitress explained that the chef was busy and that he had burned the first 2 pizzas so had to make some more, my brother advised that the egg was raw and jellied around the side he could not eat this, the waitress then picked up the pizza and threw it in the bin, we then asked for our bill, my brother was shocked to find that we had been charged for the pizza that he was unable to consume and asked that this item was removed, all of the food had been poor and service was poorer, they refused to take this item off the bill, then when we did reluctantly pay, they were screaming in our face and pushing us around, as we left the building the manager followed us out, as I turned around to take a photo of my partner the manager pushed the waitress into my causing me to drop my iphone which smashed, and they both laughed as they went back into the restuarant !! beware !!
This restaurant is located at the Edificio Mont Blanc just beneath the hotel Mont Blanc. The atmosphere is cosy with the wood burning fireplace. The service is regular, I neither have been impressed nor disappointed. The food is not bad but too expensive, in my opinion overpriced by some 20%. There are even exaggerations like 500 ml bottle of water for 2.50 euros or a small basket of bread for 3.50 euros. And the prices on the menu do not include 10% IVA (VAT) (I hate this Spanish custom to give prices VAT not included. This is nothing but trying to make them look lower and this is not the common practice outside the tourist places). We had two soups and moussaka. We liked the soups, the moussaka was tasty but it had only traces of meat in it. On the whole, even though we liked the food more or less, I wouldn't go there for everyday eating during skiing vacation.
