The best Mexican food on Maui! If you want the most authentic, delicious, out of this world bursts of flavors, go to Mixed Plate. It's located upcountry in Pukalani at the Pukalani Terrace Center. I got the 2 taco traditional pork plate with rice and beans. Its priced at $15. The tacos are rammed with meat, it's well worth it! Whole pinto beans and Mexican rice are the genuine article. You can tell they care about the quality of food they serve. You won't be disappointed.

This golf course is right within the community of Pukalani with fabulous views and without the high golf fees and crowds. It has a driving range and a great simple setting restaurant, clubhouse, with excellent food. A real upcountry local feeling to it! I live along the golf course and really hope it never becomes as crowded as Lahaina and Kehi courses can be. It is also cooler at an elevation of 1400 feet.

The food is amazing and the portions are generous! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The owner is always friendly and welcoming.
