Porciones generosas y buenos sabores de México por un buen precio. No me pareció nada extraordinario pero creo que es digno de ser visitado.

This past winter, I happened across this small restaurant while walking past it on my way to my Spanish Class. It's really easy to find. If you know where the Woolworth's store is, Taqueria Los Laureles is in the same block on the same side of the street as you walk toward old town. Taqueria Los Laureles makes a darn good quesadilla, with lots of extra toppings an salsas. They were 25 pesos. They are not licensed, but have excellent, ice cold jamaica (a Mexican drink made with the pink petals of the hibiscus plant) for 10 pesos. There you have it. An authentic Mexican lunch for about 3 bucks!There are about half a dozen tables in their tastefully decorated courtyard area. Very clean, very nice staff, no English spoken.If you find this posting, do yourself a favour and go!
