Cocineria - Puerto Aisen

Nice local restaurant, food was good, portions are big. I tried Merluza (local fish) and it was really tasty. The only thing I didn't like is that the place is not the cleanest and it was a bit too pricey.

What an unexpected gem! Congrio a lo pobre is one the best seafood dishes I’ve ever had, tbh. Empanadas were fantastic.

Excellent service. We went to Sunday at 16:00 for lunch and they treated us super well. Congrid to the poor, empanadas de choritos and Barroluco ate. Very good quality!

My first experience here was a bit strange, a person at reception who instead of standing screamed from his seat to give instructions to enter, the same decides where you should sit, but it does not take you, it yells at you, after that I made the order without problems, the letter appears stuck on the wall, I had to ask for bread since they did not bring me before the dish came. The food was fine, it took a little longer than usual and the prices were quite high, as far as the amount was regular, I was neither full nor hungry.

The seafood salad is very poor of combination. Only some mussel and clam (almeja) on top of green lettuce. And the clam was very chewy. The main course I ordered caldillo de congrio . This taste of soup was very bland with tiny piece of congrio. The other main course Paila marina had little more taste of seafood. still pretty bland. Unfortunately, there are no many choices in this small village. This eatery probably is the best you can get.
