Bidrage med feedbackStay at hotel annamalai international ende juni 2017. two of my family members who are vegetarian, we tried this place twice during our stay. I wouldn't say it was a very mouth irrigation experience, certainly worth a try in their buffet days (two days in a week). as we were little late at eating, most food items were either finished or remained tasteless. they had prepared the fresh and served us, but this is little time-consuming. ambiente and decor is really good, so is the hotel. try it worth it.
This review is long overdue! your meal, which bleed our thoughts! only yum. there were 3 different types of thalis: each better than the others. so rich and so full. we couldn't help, but the next day we could eat back. easy expensive but definitiw worth!
Chose to have lunch here as we were in Hurry and wanted to get done with the lunch. Name Haveli seemed promising though we dint do our usual Zomato search yesterday for it. But never mind. Food wasnt that bad. We ordered masala Kulchas, Butter naans, Kadai paneer Chettinad style. I sort of liked it because the breads were decently soft and the curry was over spicy but htats how i was looking for it to be: In laws opted for south Indian thalis and they weren't disappointed either. Overall so so kinda place. May try if if u are too lazy to go anywhere else. Though Pondy is a bliss for foodies, and this place doesn't dare to come close to that.
Went for non veg buffet. I did believe they could serve such a great food. Very crispy menu and overall taste was awesome. I can say this is the best mutton biriyani cooked in seeraga samba rice. It was awesome. Their buffet include mutton soup which had enough peices. Great surprice is they served sea fish local name adhil fish which is equivalent to koduva fish. It was excellent. Usally in any buffet they serve farm fish which is cheap and tasteless. Superb chicken gravy and the list goes on. Great experience. Thumbs up for your team
So after travelling for 6 hrs to Pondicherry,we stopped by this restaurant to fill our empty stomach and to my amazement the food was really bad. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, chicken chettinad gravy ,veg fried rice and Kung pao chicken gravy. Biryani was nothing like biryani, chicken chettinad was stale and the taste was horrible. One saviour was just Kung pao chicken dry( we asked for gravy but after serving us they realized they don't have Kung pao gravy) so by accident we had something to satisfy our taste bud. Service can be better too. Try to maintain your food standard.
