I visited this wonderful restaurant for lunch today. It is advisable to make reservations for lunch, as it can get quite busy even on weekdays. Our server was not very fluent in English, but did help us with some Slovenian words on the menu. I ordered the fries with fried chicken and it was delicious! This is one of the best places in Slovenia to have lunch or enjoy a drink. Although it is not customary to leave a tip for the waiter, I felt he deserved it. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot next to the footbridge with a view of the Sava river. I ordered the lamb and shrimp buckwheat warm appetizer and it was amazing. The lamb was tender and melted in my mouth. For the main course, I had the steak with truffle sauce and mashed potatoes. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and was delicious. The service was excellent. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a lunch meal costing around €30-35 per person. Food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5.

Remarkable location right on the river, close to the water. The food is a taste and visual delight. The staff is friendly and supportive as if we were regulars.
