The Dorrance - Providence

This is a genuine error on the part of management. Keep the volume level down until 9:45-10:00. You would not lose a single lounge customer but my date and I skipped two 30 dollar large plates because you can’t hear someone one foot away from you. Band is great—-it’s just the timing and volume.

This is my favorite restaurant in providence. We got married here and they remember us every year. The food is always phenomenal.

Go! It’s a great restaurant in a beautiful place but not at all pretentious. The food was excellent we had delicious rabbit pasta and perfectly cooked scallops. The server was helpful giving some great suggestions, but did not rush us. They offered us both an amuse guele and a dessert yummy. The wine was delicious and they make a perfect Manhattan!

I love the Dorrance for the atmosphere and dining experience. The food is good and so is the service.

We had a great time at the Dorrance. Although the menu is limited the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Our waiter Adam, was patient, knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommended.
