Big piano music! Good food. I had the special salmon in an orange-maple sauce. It was delicious. My date enjoyed the main rib. Portions were generous, but the right amount for dinner. I suggest staying with the wine and beer menu; mixed drinks were okay, but there is a reason why we didn't order a second round.

Simple, timeless arguably old school elegance but still very approachable. Best chicken livers ever! I also love the cabbage gratin, basa, fried chicken and pinto beans! Grab a blueberry pie for the win!

Table 4 I have a chicken dish with vegetables in a wine sauce over a fried eggplant and cabbage casrole. Delicious! Two other ordered grilled salmon and enjoyed it. Last person had a pasta dish. Not too sure they like it or not. The salads were average, but fresh. Coffee was good with strawberry shortcake and ice cream. Chicken court will have a return visit to me. felt as if it were healthy. Service was also good.

J. Harrod's is a local jewel in Prospect. Everything is fresh, service is excellent, and there are daily and weekly specialties. Even if you have a large stomach, some of the big ducks will be hard to finish! Live music is occasionally available, and outdoor seats are available when the weather is beautiful. We will definitely return and update my review if something changes!

We went Saturday after the UL department of my son (bonus that the owner was so friendly about my fear of the exact time we make a reservation as we did not know exactly when conclusion would be over). Everything was so good and uplifted as expected for food and ambience (in a good way). Most of us have the Filet Special and all said whoever cooked that Steak knows what they do- perfect, melt in your mouth ingenious. We all went around our plates for the other things, so everyone could taste how good it was. Our server was busy there with a good amount, but she was always attentive to us. We will definitely be back and even my picky father said it is definitely a place where he must bring his still picky sister and brother-in-law and that is a victory!
