Bidrage med feedbackOne of my kids requested fish and chips for lunch the day we were in the princeville area. Wife wanted something gourmet for lunch. Well, this is a gas station with a kitchen. Wife was not so thrilled with the gourmet-ness of the place, but that 's not what it is. The fish and chips was good (happy kid) and there were more fries than he could eat. Fish was beer battered ono, white and flaky. I had a plate lunch for $12, and the other kids had burgers. Wife held out for gourmet dinner later. Honestly, for the cost (about $50 to feed 6 of us) it was inexpensive for Hawaii. Portions were plentiful, and the food was good. We left full after eating on the outdoor bar and had leftovers. I can 't speak for the pizza, we didn 't try it, but the burgers fish, and plate lunch were spot on for what we needed that day. If they had anything gourmet (aka happy wife) would do 5 stars. Fill up with gas there as well! Hard to find gas going north of this place.
Best loco Moco I've ever had. Even after some good ones this is still the best. Best part is flavor, they season the meat and have a flavorful gravy. The mac salad made with spaghetti noodles is a unique twist, but still great. Awesome pizza- best on the North Shore. The Katsu Chicken is the bomb. Pretty much equal to Da Kitchen on Maui as my favorites. Eaten other things here too, all amazing. Favorite plate lunch place on the North Shore, and tied with Mark's place in Lihue as my favorite on the island. So good!
Awesome burgers and good Ono fish and chips at a reasonable price. Fantastic customer service the staff is just phenomenal! Skip the pizza, especially if you're used to great pizza from the mainland. It may be good pizza for the islands, perhaps the best, but it's nothing to write home about. Instead, enjoy the Ono and Wailua grass fed beef you can only experience on island. Great place for a quick bite.
We got the pizza burger and the teriyaki kimchi burger. Both were AMAZING! They also gave a generous amount of fries! Would definitely come back again.
Great little snack shop with a wonderful breakfast burrito that was hot and ready to go! Tasty tomatillo sauce to spice it up. I was able to get a egg and potato one without meat! The ladies were friendly and there is a nice area outside to sit and people watch all the traffic going in and out of the grocery store across the parking lot. Great place to grab a quick bite and get going to your next Hawaiian destination!
