JK Restaurant - Prince George

I've been searching for good chinese food since moving to Prince George 4 months ago, and finally came across this gem after many disappointing meals at other restaurants. Delivery was super fast! We ordered 2 different combos. The portions were large. The chow mein was just ok, but the rest of the combos were delish! We also ordered the spicy Thai chow fung which I loved despite not being spicy at all. Next time will have to ask for extra spicy I suppose. And the won ton soup was sooooo good as well. I've eaten this at many other places, where the broth is watered down but theirs was very flavorful. We will be back!

Con: Their chow mein is different than what you get from other Chinese restaurants in town. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Chow mein is my favourite part of a combination dish, so this really deters me from visiting Star WokPro: Other dishes are great and they come with HUGE portions for the cost!TL;DR: This would absolutely be the best Chinese restaurant if they had good chow mein.

This was my first time to Prince George and it was recommended for good food, it turns out that it's not JK Restaurant it's now Star Wok. My mother is diabetic so I ordered Kung Pao chicken what I got was very sweet and had enough sweetness in it to kill her, worst Chinese food ever

Too bad they are closing in a few weeks. The food is above average. Had the curry beef and potatoes. Also the Cantonese chow mein. Beef was very tender and curry sauce just right. Chow mein had lots of big shrimp.

The location is difficult to find but other then that the food is good, service is great and waitress is kind and smiley. Portions are huge. The waitress said it is closing down by the end of March. Such a shame.
