Bidrage med feedbackMy sister and I visited this restaurant for lunch. I ordered Eggs Benedict, which was tasty, but would have been even better if the eggs were runny. The Hollandaise Sauce was delicious. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by dirty tables, floors, and cutlery. It seems some of the kitchen staff could improve on cleanliness. It's a shame because the restaurant has great potential, it just needs better management to ensure a better dining experience for customers.
Today, my sister and I went to this restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, our first impressions were not positive. When we arrived on Wednesday, January 15th, two staff members were sitting at a table chatting and had just finished eating. They did not welcome us or even acknowledge our presence. The table we chose was dirty with spilled food on the floor, and we noticed other tables were in a similar condition. Additionally, there were dirty forks on the center table where condiments were located, so I had to search for clean utensils. I informed the staff about the dirty cutlery, and they mentioned they were having issues with their dishwasher. Despite this, our food arrived promptly. However, when I discovered my knife was also dirty, I returned it to the staff. Their response indicated a lack of concern for cleanliness and professionalism. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting than maintaining hygiene standards. Although the food was fine, the poor attitude of the staff and lack of cleanliness made it an unpleasant experience. I will not be returning to this restaurant and would not recommend it to others.
We visit here at least once a week as they do a skinny breakfast which is great for us as we do try to watch what we eat most of the time). As a treat we’ve also had the pancakes here and they are absolutely amazing. There is a choice of American style pancake or the traditional ones and lots of different toppings we love Nutella and maple syrup). The coffee here is really nice and a bonus is you have the option for skimmed milk and syrup/ sugar free syrup. The best thing about the ultimate cafe is the staff! They really are amazing! They’re all polite, happy, welcoming and even take the time to entertain our children when they’re having one of them children moments we all love so much. They even remember our order and have the coffees waiting for us now when they see us walk in, really good customer service, especially Kris and Katherine who always go out of their way to help us.
We went to this cafe as a family today. It cost nearly £20 for 4 drinks and 3 small cakes. It was really overpriced. We were the only people in there, there were two members of staff behind the counter, yet many of the tables were dirty. We were given a really dirty tea cup so I asked for a replacement, which was all chipped. Staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful. Definitely won't be going back. It was a rip off.
The staff at this restaurant were impolite, confrontational, and unapologetic. When I received my latte, it was overly milky and had to be remade, but the second attempt turned out more like a cappuccino. The avocado was beginning to turn brown, the poached eggs were overcooked, and the bacon was greasy. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.
