Woody's Grand Lake - Presque Isle

Our experience was excellent. Our fish were well prepared and we enjoyed local Austin Brothers beers on tap. It was Labor Day weekend during a pandemic, but we felt relaxed and safe here. All waiters wore masks. Everybody's doing his best. The restaurant was spacious and immaculate. If this is not enough for some, then they should order or stay at home.

I gave Woodys 4, because I know they're gonna be better. It is open almost 2 weeks as expected to work kinks. Beer selection is not large, but a wide enough choice to satisfy domestic and craft drinkers. The location and the ambience are very beautiful. It is a nice addition to the Grand Lake area and I hope the locals and the travelers often. The menu is currently limited, as I expect them to experiment with what will work best for the summer season. The food was probably a bit expensive for the portions so hopefully that it will improve. There is a nice bar plus table seat for large and small groups, although the overall seats are not necessarily huge. I think it will even be a big stop in winter when you drive out of the snowmobile.

A great addition to the Grand Lake. The service and prices are excellent. Both the commercial and the restaurant have the best food in the area. Would highly recommend.

I've been on wood many times. Whenever I'm gone, I got a fast and delightful waitress. The food was amazing. Prices were reasonable and I had great fun every time. I recommend Woodys. The fried ones are immaculate.

Woody's is not only situated for lake watching while you dine, but the restaurant's interior design feels like your favorite Up North lodge. The thoughtfulness to detail is wonderful just ask if you want to know the history of the tree rounds decorating the wall. The food is very good as well. I ordered clam strips they are mostly meat with light breading instead of the other way around. Cannot wait to work my way through the menu. I'm so glad they are in my backyard! Woody's is a must if you're in the neighborhood.
