County Roots - Presque Isle

Amazed with the vegan and gf options.Great food, great staff!

County Roots was recommended to me by a friend and I went in today and got the southwest salad for me and the Roots spring salad for my boyfriend. Both were so wonderful and tasty. Nice mix of different things, nice and fresh. I will definitely be back and will recommend you as often as I can. Thank you!

My partner and I have visited this cafe multiple times, hoping to support the only small business in the area to offer vegan options, but we have come away each time feeling severely let down. When you enter the space the staff as well as the owner completely disregard your presence. There are little to no options to choose from in the retail area as the shelves are almost always bare. Also, the pre-packaged food is bland and disappointing. Save yourself the trip and just cook at home.

My partner and I just moved to the area, and we're super excited to find a vegan cafe, but this place isn't what we expected. The staff were very nice, but the owner is extremely standoffish, making us feel like we weren't welcome. We've been in three times and the last time had to practically beg to get the owner to pause her casual chat with her staff and help us. On top of that, the shelves are bare. Not worth the trip.

Amazing food and smoothies! So happy to have found this place in the heart of the county!
