Bidrage med feedbackThis review is for the chamber music concert at the palace. 45 minutes: The three musicians for piano, violin and flute start at 1:05 and done by 1:50. A perfect room for a chamber music (no air conditioning, I think … but wished they played more serious pieces than what they did. Too popular (For Alice … seriously?! , like plain water. If not coffee , at least serve some tea , will you please? The audience seems more educated than the concert in the churches on the ground we attended yesterday, like the Clementium.
Royal portraits. Nice paintings of different things. Music, armour, cutlery and more collections. The music concert with Piano, violin and flute was a nice experience. Listening to popular classical music pieces performed in a small hall (with 50 people capacity maybe) was immersive.
We had dinner with an international contingent on a conference in Prague. The views were breathtaking, the atmosphere was unparalleled, and the food was absolutely remarkable! Highly recommend
A nice residence/palace of a prominent Czech noble family inside Prague Castle, now returned to the original family after the fall of the iron curtain. It contains one of the Bruegel paintings on the seasons (3 are in Vienna, one in New York) and two nice Canaletto paintings. There is an original manuscript of Beethoven’s 3rd symphony (Eroica) dedicated to one of the Lobkowicz’s ancestors. There is also a spectacular view of Prague from the terrace. Worth a visit if you have time.
Wonderful museum with a delightful collection of paintings, ceramics, armoury, musical instruments, and sheet music from the collection of the Czech royal family. The audio guide is wonderful, the terrace offers stunning views, and every day at 13:00 there's a 60 minute classical music concert, which I *highly* recommend! It transported us to the times of kings and queens, of Czech royalty and the flourishing city of Prague. A wonderful experience that was the highlight of our trip to Prague!
