Pizzeria Capretto - Prague

An excellent place to have a meal, especially when looking for a break from traditional Czech tariff. service was very attentive and friendly. we share the spinach salad and antipasto plate together with a bottle of primitivo. a refreshing and light meal. highly recommended.

Excellent Food, I had the carpaccio pizza, it was the best of both worlds, pizza carpaccio, what more do I want. I had a cheesecake for dessert, it was ok, I’d say average. Great environment, however I wish the staff were nicer, the waiter wasn’t as welcoming as he should be. Another table of 6 people wanted to tell him before he punches the buttons on the bill, which 2 were together, he told them to wait but in a rude way as if he’s a boss ordering labors. I didn’t like that, and with me I wanted to order more food, instead of suggesting that the pizza is enough, he ordered me not to order more food and said “that’s enough” and put his hand out so I’d give him the menu, I thought it was a rude way, although he was right about it being enough for me.

Pizza was nice not perfect, but good for the price , beer is very cheap. Well worth the money!

As a resident of Mala Strana, I come to this place once in a while for pizza. I even had some pasta couple of times and the food in general is great for the price given and especially considering the fact that this place is so near the center. I am not happy with the service though, as the waiter probably has got mistaken his work space with his home last time and was watching a soccer match on TV playing it quite loud. If I wanted this experience I would have opted for a sports bar. I left without order in search of a different place.

I didnt feel comfortable in here. The waiter owner wasnt very friendly. When I went to pay by card as I opted not to pay a tip, he snatched the card machine from me. I paid the bill and left immediately.
