Nulle Part Ailleurs - Prades

This little restaurant is unique! It is tucked away near the municipal camp site and sports ground in Prades. On first glimpse it looks like like a private house - it is in fact a converted orangerie on the back of a house. Truth said it needs finishing but what is there is great fun and hats off to the owner who makes the pasta to order ( if you order tagliatelli you'll hear yours coming as the pasta machine is very squeaky.) The kitchen has a wood fired stove and the chef makes everything himself. You need patience but the resulting food is very good. It is not fine dining but good plain simple italian food. he is open 7 days a week and will cook at any time. This in itself is a novelty in France! All in all a good place to go with good friends.

What a perfect meal! All cooked to order, made with fresh ingredients and of a very high quality. Excellent starters (charcuterie and tomato/mozzarella slad with fabulous pesto); homemade pasta woth a choice of sauces snd then for dessert, the most amazing tiramisu. This did not just melt in the mouth, it simply evaporated leaving a wonderful coffee taste behind. Simply the most amazing tiramisu we have ever tasted. A wonderful, friendly and informal greeting from the chef made it an unforgettable evening. The bonus was being able to eat outdoors, in the lovely garden, in October!

As the name says this restaurant is a bit off the town centre (direction: town camping), but it is a must :).It is a one man business so be prepared to wait and enjoy the small garden with few tables (but there are tables inside too). The chef's food is an Italian style and is perfect. Yes: it is perfect. Period.

We looked for a while for this place to no avail. It no longer exists. If you are looking to eat on Tuesday evening anywhere in Prades then think again

Besides the food which was more than ok, it s an experience to visit this place. It feels like home and the owner is very strange but is really taking care. Price/quality a great experience
