Bidrage med feedbackWe were there last night for a coffee before we went back to Malta. the place was filled with other Maltese tourists who stopped buying sweets to take home. the barista asked everyone to pay until the first time before serving, and all, including me, quenched as desired. while I was waiting for my job, I saw a customer coming from the side to the barista and asking to be served. I could easily overhear them to ask the customer when he was Maltese, to whom he replied no “I am Sicilian”. She served him immediately and left all other Malteser customers waiting. I was disgusting and I would ask all Maltese tourists visiting Sicily to avoid this place and spend their euros elsewhere.
Very good cannoli and good ice and the best mangles that they sit outside and take a good coffee with some delicious pastries
We like every year visit this coffee shop cappuccino was not good tee expensive 2.50 brioche was like stone and owner said how they are cooked 5 on the so why they sell in the evening when they were not fresh waitress was not happy to use...and served other tables, even if we ordered them she gave us all cakes and ice creams and drinks after 20mins we also liked eating and writing
Although we visit each year and enjoy their gelato very much, we received a box of panettone here in the united states. in the 50 years we eat various imported cartons of panettone, that is the best we ever had. it is very humid, tasteful. it is an example of how to taste panettone. we love it so much that we think in the management with them.
Mattioli has bored, lazy staff and very average gelato and granite. This is a place at a nice location but the staff really ruins the experience. This is nothing to write home about....
