Bidrage med feedbackI absolutely loved the delicious Sri Lankan dish of Dal and Pol Sambol that I tried at the Menai Food Festival. The food was cooked with care and passion, and the flavors were fantastic. I live all the way in Derbyshire, but I will definitely make the effort to come back for more of their authentic Sri Lankan grandmother recipes. Thank you for a very special dining experience!
Tasty, wholesome Asian cuisine at the market that knocked my socks off! Have been returning to the market many times just to sample all the dishes!
Met the Green Goat on Mach Market the guy on the stall is super friendly and informative and totally enthusiastic about his food. Happy to hand out tasters the smell alone had me reeled in, I opted for the Cubanos sandwich made amazing local produce and everything homemade pickles and all. They also offer an amazing range of veggie/vegan/gluten free dishes. I will look forward to my next visit soon and super excited that they will be serving at Barmouth festival this year.
I went to Machynlleth on market day which is on a Wednesday, I travelled on the Coastal train from Tal-y-Bont (I would urge you to take this ride absolutely wonderful) to Machynlleth and spent the next couple of hours just walking round the Town square and market. For the first time I decided to try street food and purchased food from a stall run by the Green Goat cafe what an absolute mind blower it was absolutely delicious I had to sit in the street to eat it and it was a little bit messy but this added to the food even more the gentleman who served me was a real character as well I do believe I shall be trying this way of eating again and at my age as well a real hoot.
Good vegetarian options, carefully prepared and served by friendly staff. The Green Goat has catered at a number of festivals I've been to in the area and never disappoints!
