I was very disappointed with the staff's response when we requested for the toast to be cooked more, as it was served to us warm like bread.

We had visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch on two previous occasions last year. We called to make a reservation yesterday, April 23rd, 2023, and were surprised by the changes we noticed. The restaurant was much quieter than before, with very few customers. We ordered the chicken roast dinner, but unfortunately, it was the worst we have had there. The meal consisted of a half chicken on a plate, along with peas, carrots, cauliflower, and a single small skin-on potato cut in half. We also ordered an extra Yorkshire pudding, which was soggy from being microwaved. The chicken was hot, but the rest of the meal was cold - not just cool, but fridge-cold. We had to send it back to be reheated. It seems like the restaurant may have changed ownership, but based on this experience, we will not be returning.

Called by for Sunday Lunch we had 1/2 chicken with all the trimmings and a coffee very good value for money we came out of the cafe full and satisfied we will be calling again.

Had the big breakfast. Nothing special. I am not able to eat eggs. I said to them to be told that’s how it comes. So I left them on the plate. What a waste. Cross this place of my bike meeting place to stop when on our ride out.

Stopped here on the way to Aberystwyth, had a lovely breakfast with my husband, sister and brother-in-law. The service was good and made to feel welcome. We enjoyed it so much we called back on the way home for lunch really good value for money.would recommend
