Tortilleria Allison - Poughkeepsie

Wow, the tortas (sandwiches) are so good and enought for 2 meals. The bread and cheese are perfect and with plenty of jalapenos. I chose steak which was a little on the drier side so I plan to try their Al Pastor which looks amazing.

Fresh, delicious and cheap! The best Mexican food in Poughkeepsie in my opinion. We had carnitas and al pastor tacos, chicken quesadillas, barbacoa and menudo. All absolutely fresh and flavorful. Best part is you can order a couple of lbs of their fresh tortillas to go! A little taste of Mexico right in our neighborhood. Give it a try!

Near-perfect carnitas on fresh corn tortillas with cilantro and onions, plus a squeeze of lime and a touch of the house salsa one of the best tacos I've had outside of Mexico or the border states. What an unexpected find. Hopefully Poughkeepsie does right by this place, I know I'll be back.

Just visited the tortilleria for the first time. Excellent and friendly service, the food was delicious and made by order. Fresh tortillas a plus. Highly recommend!

The food is fresh and delicious. They will make any of the dishes vegetarian friendly for you if needed. Very friendly staff! The cafe de olla is delicious. I love the taco salad!
