Sushi Village - Poughkeepsie

My current visit was absolutely horrible I ordered 3 inside out rolls the waitress says seaweed on the outside I say no rice on the outside she seemed confused but took the order she brings out my Sushi and there are three rows of rice deep. I called her over shoulder to Sushi and explain to her that that was unacceptable. She takes it back bring me back the same rolls with some of the rice taken out now it looks like a deformed miniature version of what a sushi roll should look like. I ended up not eating any sushi and returning it. Afterwards she proceeded to tell me that because it was a lunch special they couldn't make it correctly I asked her what she accomplished besides from getting a bad review and pissing off a local customer if she would have offered me normal sushi for a regular price I would have gladly accepted but she was expecting me to tell her how to run her business. Also the quality of the fish was subpar when I walked in I took a look at their display and should have known better and walked out. These guys need to go on Ramsay Gordon's show Sushi nightmares. Now I am no expert sushi chef but I can make better with a YouTube video.If I could give this place a zero I would

All you can eat is well worth it, but make sure you bring an appetite! Service was attentive with a smile. Fresh ingredients and good prices! Don't miss it!

The hostess spent a lot of time explaining about the all you can eat option, so we decided to do it.The different options were good, the food was ok. The hostess said if you don 't eat all your food you will have to pay for it.On top of the 2 all you can eat orders we already ordered. Whatever we didn 't eat. They charged us an additional 20 dollars. I asked how did you come up with 20 dollars. She said we charge you from the regular menu so if you have a couple of pieces of sushi left.. they will charge you for the entire roll. I never heard of this before but I didn 't want to argue. I will never come back again. The math wasn 't mathin,,?

Don't get the all you can eat special any little bit you don't eat they'll charge you . On top of that the special is already 35 per person. We left 4 pieces of sushi they charged us an extra 20 dollars . Food was fresh ill give them that.

Friendly! They do however, make their own decisions regarding placing orders together in same container. when it's an order for 5 separate people in separate addresses.
