Yellow House Pop Up - Potts Point

As a vego I was lucky to be gifted by a friend a voucher to try this restaurant. I excitedly booked in for an evening with my daughter. Unfortunately I was not able to make the sitting so called the restaurant to postpone my booking. The rude and pretentious person who took my call didn’t let me finish my sentence before proclaiming that there was a cancellation policy and hung up. On hanging up I saw my credit card had been charged $220 dollars. I understand that there are cancellation policies but perhaps the woman could have let me finish my sentence. I now have an unused voucher as well as feeling quite ill at the rudeness and not sure if I can actually bring myself to dine there.

Classy vegetarian restaurant in Kings Cross, Sydney. Sought after by fine diners and vegetarians alike. Unique set menu every night with extras or degustation. The business survived the COVID closures of many restaurants in Sydney. SO, they have 3 sitting per night so you can imagine they are super efficient. I enjoy the food. Not raving. But its good. Didn't get drinks until well into food service. Ambient music is WAY loud and the one toilet for the entire restaurant is regrettably and really untidy.

Came here for a birthday lunch. As a vegetarian is was exciting to be able to eat everything on the menu. Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend Yellow.

In a group with some members who are vegan. But as soon as “Vegan” is mentioned it means pay 3 times it’s worth…! Yellow’s tasting menu was interesting but not worth $100. I mean there is only so much one can do with a vegetable and cabbage still tastes like cabbage. Beer menu scary prices and all unknown boutique beers. Not for me. Wine list very extensive. Very expensive. And likely you will not know any of the names on the wine. Ostentatious at best. A disguised rip off actually. Way way overpriced. Decor trying to be smart but very cafe like. Recommendation go if you are vegan as you like blowing your money on special food. If invited make sure someone else pays. I’m not going back…
