Plateia - Potts Point

I can't speak for the dining in experience but I ordered from this restaurant on Deliveroo and it was horribly wrong. They rang me to say they had run out of spanikopita. They offered to replace it with something, I was put in the spot a bit and agreed to two 'Greek desserts' suggested instead even though we don't really go for sweet food much and the spanikopita was going to be my partner's dinner. I understand that restaurants run out of food sometimes but what happened after is unforgivable. When the food arrived it was missing the salad we ordered and paid for. Since I had their phone number from the spanikopita issue I called to let them know. The proprietor was so rude and unapologetic and said there was nothing she could do and suggested that I should come into the store for a meal in the future and she would give me two salads for the price of one! Seriously?The final straw was when I got a few bites into the chicken skewers and the meat was raw in the middle. The meal was inedible. Even the replacement desserts that we tried tasted stale.Do yourselves a favour. Stay away!

After seeing plateia on trip advisor me and my girlfriend decided to give it a try. Unfortunately for us we tried out plateia on the last day! The food was honestly the best Greek I've ever tried! If we'd have known earlier I'd have eaten there everyday. It's so worth a visit. We tried a mixture of a few dishes and all were amazing! The lamb was sublime. Cannot recommend this highly enough! Really worth it.

First time here, food was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent. Big fan of Greek food and I will definitely be back!!

I had a great experience at this hidden gem in Kings Cross. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The service was prompt and professional.

日帰りツアーの後で疲れており、夕食をホテル近くのお店でテイクアウトして、部屋で済ますことにしました。ホテル周辺を歩いてみると、キングスクロスには中華、タイ、メキシカンなど様々なレストランがあったのですが、サラダが食べたかったので、メニューにサラダとお肉のセットがある、こちらのギリシャ料理店にしました。レストランは、キングスクロス駅から徒歩数分のベイズウォーター・ロード沿いにあり、テーブル席は店内と店先に５～８つぐらいしかなく、どちらかというとファーストフード店に近い感じでした。注文した料理は、「Bifteki Plate - Chicken and Beef」というもので、チキンとビーフのビフテキがそれぞれ２切れと付け合わせにフレンチフライ、ピタパン、ギリシャ風サラダのセットで、価格は１９．９５ドルとそこそこしました。待ち時間の間、レストランの様子を見ていると、注文せずに料理だけを取りに来る人がいて、ネットで事前に注文ができるようでした。また、結構テイクアウトする人がいたので、地元では人気のあるレストランのようです。部屋に戻り、料理が入った容器を開けると、サラダは、赤玉ねぎのスライス、オリーブ、トマトのざく切りなどにフェタチーズがかけられていて、赤ワインにとても合い、美味しかったです。ビフテキはどんなものか知りませんでしたが、小さいハンバーグといった感じで、付け合わせのソースをつけて、もっちりしたピタパンと一緒に食べると美味しかったです。フレンチフライはごくごく普通でした。テイクアウトだったからでしょうか、見た目はいまいちでしたが、まずまず美味しくいただけました。価格がもう少しお手頃だったらうれしかったです。
