The location itself is somewhat hidden in north of Postdam next to the to/from Berlin. The menu is providing a very nice selection of local specialities. In addition to that the restaurant offers changing dishes like during their Around the globe weeks. The quality...of food and service is very good and a reason for us to visit the Die Tenne again and again.

Die Tenne restaurant beer garden is located somewhat hidden in the forest next to the road some kms north of Potsdam centre. You need your own transport to reach the place. Staying in Neu-Fahrland we decided for Die Tenne for dinner as...the restaurant was at walking distance. We found the place rather empty on a weekday evening. The basically furnished and decorated restaurant offers classical East German dishes like Soljanka, Eisbeinsülze, Brathering, Kaninchenbratwurst, Rahmgeschnetzeltes, etc. Service is quick and adequate. We choose to dine at the terrace. Beer is good and food appeared average. We recommend Die Tenne to anyone who seeks unpretentious German cuisine.
