King Street Oyster - Potomac

My husband and I come here at least 3 times a week and the staff know us know lol. We love this restaurant so much! The wings are perfect! The brussel sprout salad with grilled shrimp is also one of our faves. My husband also loves their oyster rockefeller, and their raw oysters. The people are nice and the atmosphere is great! I will take more pictures next time we go, which will likely be in a few days!Wheelchair accessibility: This is a wheelchair accessible restaurant.

Staff were dismissive and short with us. My crabcake sandwich was full of shredded lettuce and no crab meat. I won't be returning.

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. Star rating overal experience for this restaurance because management was rude and need customer service training. A friend recommended it as a good happy hours restaurant so we reserved a table for 6. We arrived at 4pm and ordered food. Everything was a ok; server was average, food was average but beers were good so we ordered several rounds. Everything was fine and about 6pm we were wrapping up our check. A female manager came to finish up the charges and the restaurant was getting busy by that time. She kindly asked that we could wrap up in 10 minutes which was fine to us once one of our friend finished his 2 sips of beer. Not even 10 minutes later, a male manager came over and barted at us we need our table back and walked away without a thank you or anything that 's presentative of a good customer service. My friend did not finish his beer but given the bad attitude we received, we walked out the restaurance right away. Don 't go there!

I had a selection of 6 oysters to start. The Jalapeño infused mignonette was AMAZING! For my entree I had the asian shrimp salad. With mango and cabbage and a lime vinaigrette dressing it was bursting with flavor. I’m definitely coming back.

The service was absolutely terrible. I arrived on time for my reservation and was seated immediately. However, I had to wait 20 minutes before my server came over and brought me water. I was sitting on the outdoor patio in the hot sun, which made the wait even more uncomfortable. I ordered charbroiled oysters and a crab cake sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. The oysters were just mediocre, and the mac and cheese was downright awful. The crab cake sandwich could have been good if it hadn’t been served cold—there's no way it was made fresh to order. To top it all off, after my food arrived, my server never returned to check if I needed anything. The service was wrapped up by what looked like a manager or host, but it did not improve my experience. Overall, it was just unacceptable!
