For a hotel restaurant... food is phenomenal. Definitely recommend the meatball app and the Monte Cristo was awesome. Steak and Shrooms were cooked perfectly and had mouth watering flavor. 100 percent satisfied customer!
We have a slip in the marina below and finally decided to give the restaurant a try. The patio has a great view of the river and mountains but noise from Spokane St. Bridge is oppressive. We had a couple canned ciders (would have been nice to get glasses) and some polenta fries which were unusual and pretty good. My son had fish and chips. The fish was nice and tasty. My wife had the chicken marsala fingers which were a bad idea with bad execution. Breaded, soggy chicken fingers in a processed sauce. Probably a 1.5 out of 5.I had the Monte Cristo sandwich which was very good but came with a disappointing, onion laden salad.Service was good.Honestly, probably won't go back but had to say we gave it a try.
Enjoyed a fabulous meal here with family last night. My burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy as requested and to die for! Lovely environment with beautiful views of the river. The chef checked on us a few times and was gracious and welcoming. Our server, Adrienne, was fabulous, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive to all of our needs! We'll be back!!
1. The food is fabulous. Hard to believe this is hotel food. We had a Brie burger with bacon jam. (I forget the name of it) It. Was. So. Good!! Stellar.2. The staff is great. The chef, Gabriel, is super friendly, and likes to use local grown ingredients. I learned about some local mushrooms, and as a forager myself, was curious to taste these beauties. He brought out a whole section of them for me to take and prepare for family that lives nearby. I also got to know one of the servers, Jena. Very friendly and with a contagious smile.3. The atmosphere is welcoming. The overlook of the river from the deck is magical. I would not stay (or eat) anywhere else when in Post Falls!
