C'era Una Volta - Positano

Excellent prices considering the place. beautiful view. courteous staff and prepared. good the appetizer and the first. insignificant swordfish. pizza not classified.

We stayed here and has a nice view traditional cuisine and service a little slow but nothing to complain about very courteous and helpful waiters

We were advised to go here by Jade from our hotel. Wow, were we pleased to have found this restaurant. We love Italian food but to taste real Italian food you have to go here. We have eaten twice out of the three nights we had in Positano. We sat outside for our visit as the views were beautiful from outside. We sat indoors last night due to it being cold. We didn't book, but they were able to seat us. The wine there comes in a jug, which is so nice and different.  The food was mouthwatering, and we wish we had a restaurant like this in England. We sat outside which had a lovely view and nice ambiance. The food was alright but not memorable. Pasta looked great but was undercooked and sauce was very simple. Steak was good, cooked well. Service was not overly friendly unfortunately as we had read of amazing service.

My wife and I were recommended C’era Una Volta by our Airbnb host, and suffice to say it didn’t disappoint. We appreciated being out of the overpriced tourist traps of Positano and searched for quality home style traditional Italian cooking. C’era Una Volta didn’t disappoint. I’m fact, we ate here three nights! The pizzas are as good as you’ll get anywhere, and the pastas are handmade and fresh. Also, the house wine is sensational! The staff are also attentive and super friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality Italian meal, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Positano, still with incredible views!
