The Country Pantry - Portsmouth

I had a great experience with the "Early Bird" breakfast at this restaurant. The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

Nothing fancy just good home cooked food ....tasted just as my mum used to cook....worth every penny...Will definitely pay another visit

You must try the delicious Sunday roasts at this restaurant. Be sure to arrive early as it tends to fill up quickly due to its excellent value and fantastic flavors.

My boyfriend and I frequent this establishment often. We are in our twenties, as are our friends who enjoy it here. Surprisingly, even my 64-year-old father and vegan cousin, as well as my corporate office manager, also enjoy dining here. It seems to cater to a diverse crowd, as long as they aren't too snobbish - which could be a challenge given its location in Southsea. The food is consistently fast, hot, and generous in portions. It has a traditional working-class cafe vibe. While I do appreciate sourdough toast with avocado, if you're looking for a satisfying, reasonably priced meal without any fancy extras, this is the place to go. It's also perfect for curing a hangover.

You would easily walk past this place and disregard it going by appearances, but venture in and you'll get a reasonable breakfast for a reasonable price. Basic cooking and surroundings nothing fancy just filling.
