Sakura - Portsmouth

Eating was amazing. we have eaten here for many years and it just gets better! I believe that it was full on a Monday night in the january, says everything. the tempura was deliciously crispy and light, and I can't wait to go back.

The service and atmosphere were excellent. The variety of dishes offered was impressive and typically authentic. However, the ramen was a bit disappointing as it was not the expected tonkotsu style.

Amazing eating and service. the lady who took our orders took the time to talk us through the menu as we had not yet eaten Japanese. 100% will go back.

The staff was very accommodating and the food was exceptional. I will definitely return.

Food was fantastic and lady serving us was so lovely. Felt that she went above and behind. We ran out of the pickled ginger that comes with the sushi and got us another little dish of it. I would recommend booking a table as people were coming in not having booked and they were either turned away or had to wait. Not surprised as there are a limited number of tables but this helps them maintain the quality of the food when they do get busy. Please keep up the excellent level of service and quality of food.
