Bidrage med feedbackWe loved the ambiance of the outdoor seating, and we had a nice amount of space for our elderly dog napping in his stroller next to our table. The staff was really nice and friendly. I had a mango lassi to drink, and my husband had a cocktail. I liked the mango lassi, but I hadn't realized how thick and filling it would be (hadn't had one in many years), so next time I'd stick with a lighter drink to save more of my appetite for the yummy food. We got the soy curl tikka masala plate, the pickled broccoli and cauliflower pakora, and the spicy cucumber. We hadn't realized we would already be getting cucumber with the tikka masala we would have skipped that dish if we realized. The pakora was outstanding, and so were the soy curls, rice, and the dal. It was a lot of food for the two of us; we had to take about half of the pakora home for later.
The Sudra used to be good, back when they opened the Beaverton location. Now they’ve closed it down, and this location serves expensive, unimpressive food in tiny portions, with servers that act as if they’re doing you a favor. If you come here hungry, you’ll leave hungry.(Indian cuisine is very vegan friendly on the whole, so pay a visit to an authentic place instead! Right now, our favorite is Abhiruchi across the river in Vancouver.
I wouldn't recommend this place if you want fresh Indian food. Based on the reviews, I drove here for an hour. I was extremely disappointed by the quality of the food- it tasted like ginger in everything. Even the mango lassi has gingerly taste. So did the curries and soy Chapp!!
Beautifully presented plant based Indian. Delicious to palate your other four senses.
We had been here couple of years ago , we visited this place again recently .This experience was not good. Now It’s an okay place with average food and atmosphere. The plates are small so order accordingly. It’s pricey. This is not authentic Indian food. It lacks flavor. With many places to select , would NOT recommend this place.
