The Of Chocolate - Portland

This place had a brilliant atmosphere. It's a great hole in the wall place that feels like Berlin. Cobblestones outside add to the feel. It's a super dark speakeasy, and when we got there at about 9:30, it was super loud and busy. We got sat down and didn't get served right away. Waitress and staff seemed overwhelmed and frantic. Once we finally got served, the chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting was absolutely amazing. It was a really thick and tasty cake and superrich. I'd like to go back when it's less busy.

My friends and I came in tonight to celebrate my best friends birthday. We had Georgia as our server and she was one of the best servers we?ve ever had! Super super sweet and friendly and was helpful in cocktail choices for us. Best server ever!! Being in the industry I so much appreciate great service and she exceeded the best service ever!

Drinks were really good. Bartender was awesome and very personable. Homemade lemoncello and peanut butter liquor. Fun place!

Great bar. Kinda tricky to find if you aren't paying attention. The desserts were great. The martini was amazing.

It's a cute hole in the wall place that's open later in the evening that serves specialty drinks and dessert. It was totally full but we were able to get in. A fun place for an after dinner stop.
