Bidrage med feedbackWe went to sweet basilikum when we traveled through portland 10 years ago. we were back in town tonight and decided to try again. it was amazing how it was 10 years ago. service was great and our food came fast and good value. the many Thai restaurants we have eaten over the years, sweet basilikum remains one of the best. even if they cannot handle sharply, they look very mild.
I would give this a solid 3 stars. I give him a 1 star because we order and realize over the phone after we added a $10 late night luck without notification after home from the pickup. also the $22 sampler plate was not worthy of this price, che victorious, super dry tofu, mushy strongeri reis with our entree....not a happy customer. with all the many selections of thai in this city this customer will not come back.
Presentation was top notch. aromen were amazing. house curry wilde wicy was hot as I like it. the yellow curry and the sweet basilikum matched the best I ever had. tom kha suppe and early roll not disappointed. the personal was curious and attentive. 10/10.
I love her tom-yum noodle soup (with egg noodles)! I go to this place in the month. I should try different meals, but always order them to m yum nudel because it is sooo good! suppe is slavery, sharp and they are always nice to me! that makes me so happy! I just moved to sf and I miss this place already.
Pad See Ew had 3 small pcs of broccoli, 2 pcs of carrot, 2 pcs of chicken. and a ton of sprouts. Otherwise it was just dry noodles stuck together in chunks. Barely edible. Worst thai I’ve ever had.
