Silsila The Flaming Tandoor - Portland

I called this restaurant at 9pm and they assured me that everything on the menu was available. I mentioned that my daughter and I had traveled all the way from Michigan and were relocating to the area. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The chicken biryani, mango Tikka masala, and naan were all delicious! I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with great spice levels, and the staff is super friendly. After a long workday, my partner drove to pick up our order but somehow the samosas were left behind. I called the restaurant prepared to just forget about it, but they went above and beyond by delivering the samosas to us later that night. The people here are really nice and the food is amazing.

I ordered the chicken tikka masala, but really? Three small pieces of chicken and a small serving of rice for $17? I'm at a loss for words, but I have to say, this is extremely disappointing.

Good Indian food! Tried the tandoori chicken, paneer tikka masala and Dal makhani. All the dishes were good.

Vegetarian Food Review: I ordered Shahi Paneer, Garlic Naan and Raita. Really enjoyed the food. I ordered medium spicy but if you don?t enjoy spice then make sure you say mild. Flavors were very different from mainstream and the service was very good. Ilook forward to trying more things. I wish there was 4.5 for rating. So try and let me know what you thought about it.
