Sidecar 11 - Portland

The owner of this place was an absolute Gem this weekend; as he opened his doors early for an engagement shoot for my clients! As the time ticked on and the bar reached open hours folks began to trickle in from the street. Each was welcomed with big smiles and welcoming arm motions! The bar its self is way trendy but in a non pretentious and comfortable way. The lighting was bright yet moody. The decor reminded me of a southern gentleman's dark warm oaky library bar.. yet also was modern with metal accents, a sliding ladder to access the wide variety of whisky extending to the ceiling, and art on the wall. This would be a great place to take someone for a first date, go with friends, or maybe just maybe the moment is right ... purpose to the love of your life .. like my client did! Sidecar 11 will, without a doubt, be my new recommendation for those looking for a drink on Mississippi!

The best bar in town by far, consistently fabulous; food, staff and smooth martini's....what else could you ask for!

Literally the best whiskey drinks you will find in Portland! Their whiskey sours are fantastic and they use actual egg whites in this work of art. Simply amazing!
