Parker's Hideout - Portland

Incredible staff! Super comfortable environment, with ample space for a large group. Best patio for miles around. Great music, and karaoke. Highly recommend this bar. You’ll feel like family…or be left alone if you prefer that.

I highly recommend not going to this establishment at all. The owner does not take care of his employees and is running a once great bar into the ground.

I love bars with character and charm (and this place has it), but, more importantly, it 's the people that make me return to places time-and-again. I live in the area, and have come to love Parker 's Hideout. Ownership is friendly, approachable, and from the area, as well. It 's a great place to 'hideout ' from the world, have dialogue(s) with other patrons who one may not normally chat-up. A laid back place to listen to some tunes, to celebrate and/or commiserate, and to decompress over some beverages.

After reading an article in the local newspaper about this pub that was recently opened, I decided to check it out. On a Saturday night. There was a light crowd on my many who seem to know one another and the conversation was comfortable and friendly.The bartender poured me a drink that I requested but it turned out it wasn't what I really wanted and she had no problem remaking it to my satisfaction. What great service.The video poker machines were regularly used and there was a full table of folks waiting to sing karaoke.The space itself was vast and in no way did it feel claustrophobic. There were additional rooms with pinball and pool. The club was well lit and smelled good, well at least it didn't smell bad.The smoking section outside was clean and swept up with cigarette butts and cigarette packs in a trash receptacle and not thrown around on the ground.I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Parker's Hideout and a plan on going again for one of the live music nights.

Wow I was the only customer. 830 pm Saturday night. I would say maybe they need some pinball tournaments or pool or something like that. If you enjoy drinking alone great place to hang
