Little River Cafe - Portland

Lovely cafe on the river, outdoor seating gives you views of the river as well as the dedicated, humidity runners, and plenty of cute dogs! It is a counter order place, good options for breakfast and coffee. Got two plates of the french toast, egg, bacon meal. The french toast was brioche and very good, the pecans, syrup, and beautiful full fat whip cream were the real stars.

This is one of my favorite brunch places in the city! The location is ideal it sits right on the south waterfront with plenty of outdoor seating facing the boat harbor. Unlike a lot of brunch places, the food at Little River Cafe is well priced and the wait is never too long, even during the weekends. I usually get the Savory Breakfast, which comes with eggs, bacon and a sweet potato/kale/red pepper sauté. This plus an iced matcha makes for a great hangover cure on a Sunday morning! Highly recommend this place for a quick bite or brunch :

Awesome breakfast spot along the water! They have a large menu and it was so hard to choose! I went with the brioche French toast and a vanilla latte. Both were excellent! You order at the counter and they bring everything to your table. Staff were super nice!

A cute little place on the riverfront with indoor and outdoor tables. Service was friendly and efficient; order at the counter and they bring it to you. I had the salmon sandwich which was good albeit it's not smoked salmon; it's not advertised as such. Bagel not toasted. Should I have asked? Would be handy if they had salt, pepper and optional plastic utensils by the sugar options.

The bagel sandwich was one of the best I've ever had ! The bagel was crunchy (was that right? yes! The bagel had a nice crunch when you bite into it but not dry and then the texture turned moist and soft and delicious. OMG. I got it with bacon and egg. I also had an iced latte which was amazing too. I recommend sitting outside along the river. It's a beautiful place. Food service was slow and friendly but expected since they were busy and packed on a Saturday morning.
