Bamboo Sushi Sw - Portland

I got the sunset roll, the simple tuna nigiri at the top of the menu, and a salmon nigiri I can't recall. The tuna was superior in quality it frankly surprised me how good it was. The sunset roll was a great indulgent American style roll with everything you're looking for in taste and texture. This was my first sushi meal after having some world class sushi at Sushu Tokyo 10 in Roppongi. Portland's Bamboo rose to the challenge and exceeded expectations. I'll be back.

Food was mediocre. Sushi wasn't the best I've had. The one thing we did like was the Friday the 13th roll. But all the other sushi rolls we got were either salty or had a weird after taste. The atmosphere was loud and I could barely hear the waitress speaking.

Lovely spot with absolutely BEAUTIFUL Sushi. It was like eating little works of art!

One of the better places in Portland. Difficult to disappoint.

Delicious food. Great service. I’d love to come back when I visit Portland again.
