Amazing location, great quality food, good service, and all round really lovely experience. Very happy

Lovely setting but a lot of flies buzzing around (not the restaurants fault I know, but annoying none the less). A few vegan options including starters, mains and desserts! I went the the mushroom tempura starter, loved it! Very tasty but that was the best part of the meal for me unfortunately. I had the seitan steak with miso with the risotto as my main and just found it way too heavy on the miso it was extremely salty, for my taste anyway. The risotto it came with was nice though. I had raw chocolate cake to finish which was ok. My husband had the grilled sea bass which he enjoyed. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. Would visiting again but I would void the main I had this time.

Friendly staff. Great location. An impressive menu. One of the few restaurant with decent options for vegans which is important for our mixed group. Food quality I’d say good/great but not overwhelmingly great. Most of our starters were delicious except the tuna ceviche was a touch too chunky/“cooked” (sitting in the marinade for too long losing the transparency but looking cooked). The prawn with black rice and the monkfish were absolutely amazing. The octopus might be a touch too salty. Dessert were good. Four people three courses plus one bottle of white and two beer the bill came to €190. I’d say more expensive than other restaurants but then we are in a popular tourist destination so can’t say it’s unreasonable. All in all a wonderful experience esp when one could time in perfect to also enjoy the magical sunset of Alvor.

Most expensive meal on hols and nowhere near the best. Wife’s meal dry. Slow service. Desserts good. Better restaurants around.

We had dinner here and the setting was lovely. The menu is varied and the food was very nice. The service was good and a highchair was provided for our toddler.
