Teriyaki Of Japan - Porters Neck

Teryakyi of Japan always follows my instructions to the letter, the food is always warm no matter the driver, always tastes amazing, and the portions are fantastic, I always have leftovers for later!!! Cant beat the price point!!

#1 Chicken Teriyaki was super sweet, way too sweet for teriyaki. The veggies were either over steamed or over boiled with no flavor. The cream cheese "crab rangoon" was another overly seeet item. The "white sauce" was more like a tan sauce that appeared to be broken. Half of the food ended up in the trash as it was just too sweet.

This my second time from ordering from this restaurant and today I the #4 Chicken Shrimp Teriyaki . The portion was a very nice size and the meal was AMAZING! I ordered the white rice with vegetables. The vegetables included, cabbage, broccoli, and carrot strips. I appreciate that the vegetables were full size pieces versus the small bits I apos;ve received from other restaurants. I ordered a side of White Sauce and it came safely wrapped in plastic to prevent spillage. The container was larger than I expected and Im ot complaining! The teriyaki sauce is really good I just like white sauce and theirs is so yummy!

The Chicken Teriyaki had a decent flavor but not a ton of sauce, which made the dish seem more dry than expected, and the chicken itself seemed to be low quality, as the texture was almost fatty/chewy. The Phillys Cheesesteak Egg Roll (1pc) was very good!

Such a good size portion. Food tasted food. Veggies were cooked perfectly. Will de be ordering from here again the next time im in town.
