Cucina Lucia Italiana - Porters Neck

Sadly, this restaurant has deteriorated since our last visit pre-COVID. The food used to be excellent. True homemade Italian. Four of us went there last week and were shocked at how empty it was. We made it clear that we wanted to relax and enjoy a pre-dinner drink but the over-zealous waitress kept returning to our table. We tried to order calamari but they were “out”. All of our entrees were boring and nothing special. Even the bread was ordinary. I was embarrassed because I had had such good memories of this place and had recommended it to my friends. To add insult to injury we were charged $3 because we used a credit card. In my opinion Mamma is struggling. If she reduced the menu by half and focused on quality over quantity, people would line up to eat there. I sincerely hope she follows my advice.

At there with my wife last month and the food was just horrible. Very small eating area and small parking lot. Food was not worth the high prices we paid. So many better Italian restaurants to eat in Wilmington. Skip this one!

This was the worst experience ever, I am so upset we ever went here. We sat down and placed our order, our salads came out and they were just plain. Nothing great, iceberg and cucumbers. The bread they gave us was stale. Then at the table behind us the customer was talking to the server saying she had been waiting over an hour for a to go order. Then the owner came out to talk to the customer and decided to yell at her infront if the whole restaurant. The customer left and the owner continued to yell in the kitchen. We chose to leave without even eating and they charged us for our salads. Do not ever go here!!

Ravioli came out bubbling. It was delicious. Hidden little gem of a restaurant. Spinach Ravioli was great. Wish there would have been more bacon and meat but it was delicious.

Don 't know what happened. Dined here in May and had a good meal but when returned in July it was horrible. They were out of everything from bread to CHICKEN! Yes, the server said they had no chicken to people at the table who wanted a chicken Caesar salad and another chicken piccata. I ordered the same meal and it wasn 't even close to being the same . The pasta was over cooked for everyone and the marinara resembled doctored ketchup. The waitress even told us about great food at other restaurants not this one. Terribly disappointing as I had told everyone how good it was on my last visit.
