Great Wall - Portage

The restaurant offers generous portions for the price, with consistently good food. One standout employee, whom I unfortunately forget the name of, is present on weekdays and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Ordering online results in quick and efficient service, with food always ready for pickup on time. Overall, the service is fast and the experience is highly satisfactory.

I have been a customer of Great Wall for a long time. It is comforting to know that I can always rely on their delicious Chinese takeout. Even though I no longer live in Kalamazoo, I make the trip occasionally just to enjoy Great Wall's fantastic Chinese food. They offer a wide variety of options to choose from!

First visit to the wall. Very busy place at 5:30 am, even my walk to go order was ready in 10 minutes. Big part, enough to feed two. I usually tried the sesame chicken a safe bet when it tries a new place, no disappointment here. The staff was friendly and helpful for a new customer. I will return.

The excellent service was greatly appreciated, although I wish the restaurant was a bit closer.

Of all the places for great Chinese food, Kalamazoo MI would probably not make the list. Oh how we would all be wrong. We placed our order for delivery and it was at the hotel, hot and fresh in less than 30 minutes. First, the order was process was quick and efficient “old school” using the telephone. Second, the order was delivered correct and complete; nothing was wrong or missing. Third, ALL of the food was hot, fresh, and very flavorful, including the fried appetizers. We’ve traveled this country for years, and honestly this was one of our best delivered Chinese meals thus far.
