Bidrage med feedbackI just ordered a dipped cone. I thought I'd play it cool and go with the medium cone. Jeeze! That thing was huge! So big I wonder if OSHA knows about it? Because I'm sure they'd insist on safety handles ????. I don't want to think how trafficalteringly huge the large cone would be as I hung out the window haplessly driving and trying to eat that massive dairy treat. Uh, I ate the whole medium cone. Someday if dibeetus don't set in now, I'll go get another.
Service was friendly and fast, drive thru speaker is not working well, and ice cream the last couple of times taste different. Wondering what has changed. I am not a fan. Just want to let you know. We will be going to Culver's from now on. The new tasteis not my taste.
Came in to this establishment after getting out of a 12 hour shift. All i wanted was the pretzels with cheese, and a dirt cake blizzard with extra gummy worms. Not only did i have to wait 40 minutes for my food, they forgot the cheese sauce for thepretzels, and they forgot the gummy worms in my blizzard. I tried calling to let them know they forgot half of my order, andtheir phone is off the hook.
I came through the drive thru after work today to get dinner for my husband and waited 30 minutes for one basket. Then when I glanced in the window there was an employee biting his fingers and another employee playing with their hair and never oncewashed their hands before handling food. I also saw employees wiping their hands on their clothes and not washing their hands.My husband and I are frequent customers. Then there were like little kids (about the age of 12) in the back making blizzards andhugging employees, and not washing their hands. I only gave 2 stars because the food came out hot.
So. Employees were good in Portage... BUT here's the thing about this DQ... It needs a huge change. It's not clean, the AC above was dripping everywhere. The water droplets were traveling across the ceiling and falling in several places. Looks to be veryold and is directly over where they have their dips for your choc., Strawberry, etc covered ice cream. The counter where youorder has several things on it that personally as far as I can tell should not be. No other dairy queen I've seen has theirproducts hanging out on the counter where your order did by registers. Now is this an employee issue? I don't think so. It wouldbe more of an owner issue that needs to update the building. The chocolate ice cream needed to firm up so we waited for part ofour order. That was employee related. But really the only thing I felt was something they could improve on. I don't know how theemployees could stop the dripping water. They could definitely clean up the trays more often under the machines. Really a lotcould be fixed if updates were done to this location.
