Friendly country style atmosphere. The staff can't do enough for you and are very attentive, but let you relax and enjoy your meal without hovering over you like in some places. Had the Sunday roast lunch and the quality of the ingredients are obvious on first bite. The roast beef is served up as thick as a steak, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The same effort goes into the veg mash, they're more than just plate fillers, along with the yorkie roastie (and the red wine gravy is delicious). Also had the squid for starters. Lightly battered with a tasty sauce and slaw, notoriously hard to get right, but they do it. And all finished off with the best homemade warm chocolate brownie I've ever had in my life with what I believe was homemade ice cream, the perfect end to a fantastic meal. The only shock you'll get are the prices, it's an absolute bargain. Parking: Plenty of space, no issues even when it's busy.

What can I say about this place... I really can't fault Sally McNally's! We heard they were dog friendly and decided to bring the dog for his 2nd birthday (as you do). They kindly put us in a wee side area on our own which suited us perfectly with the dog and went the extra mile and had a packet of doggie bones on the table for him I also asked for a sausage for him and they brought it out all cut up and cooled down and didn't even charge us for it The food was 10/10, the staff were amazing and made such a fuss of the dog. I really highly recommend this place! Thanks for a lovely experience, Reggie couldn't have had a better birthday! We will definitely be back.
