Les Poissonneries de la Cote Catalane

We had a wonderful feast of oysters, crabs and tartare de thon for lunch. Stay in this restaurant with these raw bar items. Really disappointed by the tapas frozen fried Calamari, which looks like onion rings and industrial “crab”

After shopping for dinner in their shop below we shared a plate of oysters and some local wines. We enjoyed a delicious and super fresh mixed dish and their house white. The following evening we returned to dinner when we both... mixed seafood and more local wine. Nothing beautiful, but a super fresh leak on the water.

Our family loved the seafood plated, crab so fresh, large shrimps were delicious and the whey were so good. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The only thing our group doesn't like was the shells, but that's just our taste. It is a great place to sit and enjoy the view and the food! I miss the old warehouse, but the restaurant is a great improvement!

We trekked around the harbour to explore the new version of Les Poissonneries: very much updated. I miss the old fish market feel but the seafood is as yummy as I remember. We had a dozen huitres méditerranéens and the tapas for two which includes...a glass each of wine. Fritures excellent, anchovies with lemon, calamari two ways, mussels, octopus salad, a rather tepid mayonnaise) We ended with one café gourmand and one coffee, allowing us to share the little treats on my café gourmand. This is busy place at lunch, even in October, so arrive early to ensure seating. And because it's busy and staff are constantly running, remember that good things are worth the waiting.. North Americans should realize this is going to take time and a cheerful face will get you much better service!

- Service bien trop long, avec réservation : arrivés à 12h30 sortis à 14h50.- Etablissement sale, mal entretenu ; les toilettes, les vitres, le sol, la cuisine, les verres (quand ils ne sont pas servis cassés).- Mayonnaise datant au mieux de la veille.- Crevettes pleine d'eau, comme congelées.- 1/2 langouste pas appétissante, ayant traîné avant d'être servie.- très mauvais service malgré la bonne volonté des serveursMANQUE de sérieux : cantonnez-vous à la vente à emporter.Je déconseillé vivement.
