I go there at least once every summer. It's not too far a drive from my house. The only thing is the benches near the water are very hard and the new chairs are in the sun with no shade
It is always enjoyable to walk around the Marina. I no longer have a boat, but the Boat House Bar Grill (I think that is what it is called) has a delicious hotdog combo meal (Fries) and a few ice cream flavors. A great stop with kids as it is very close to the Birdseye pool, Palmar Park playground, splash pad, and the lake front
Went and relaxed while waiting for my son still so beautiful!
Asked a question the other day and didn 't get a response ... leads me to question whether my inquiry about their ice cream really being authentic Kawartha Dairy is being buried for a reason. The moose tracks was tasteless and my hubby wasn 't convinced his mint chip was right either ... Hmm. ...suspicous.Nice location and I do recall last year THIS being THE place for ice cream for us and the kids. Shame.
